About
The mind behind XO Royalty, three published books, and a body of work spanning philosophy, music production, fashion design, software engineering, and political writing.
Self-described as Father, Husband, Polymath, Aesthete, Autodidact, Philosopher, Iconoclast, Political Dissident, Erudite, and Aerobe — Tshepang Daniel Motshwadiba moves between disciplines not as a dilettante, but as someone who understands that knowledge, like art, refuses to be confined.
"The unexamined life is not worth living — but neither is the unlived examination. Theory must become practice, and practice must become art."
XO Royalty
"They stripped away our royal identity; enslaved us for monetary gain, we were left incomplete… only art can make us whole again."
Founded in Johannesburg, South Africa, XO Royalty is a 100% Black-owned luxury brand bridging urban street culture and haute couture. Operating under XO Luxury Goods (Pty) Ltd, the brand is known for its handcrafted velvet and cashmere loafers adorned with royal crests, high-end urban streetwear, and premium leather accessories.
More than fashion, XO Royalty is a philosophy of restoration — reclaiming identity, dignity, and sovereignty through art and craftsmanship.
